MEET THE COACHES
Head Coach - Lisa Washington
 |
Lisa Washington was
a member and vice-captain of the USA senior squad.
Originally hailing from New Zealand where she played netball
at various levels. In recent years she has dedicated most of
her netball time to upskilling herself as a coach.
She started her
coaching at premier and age group representative level
within Christchurch netball. She brings with her a wealth
of coaching experience. Instrumental in the set-up of
netball in her home state of Washington, Lisa’s enthusiasm
and dedication to netball has seen the sport introduced at
local schools and community centers.
With the 2009
Nationals coming to Seattle in June, Lisa’s plate is
certainly very full but her effervescent personality and
total commitment to the game has a habit of rubbing off on
others and the growth of netball in Seattle has been
extraordinary. As a mother of two young daughters, Lisa is
kept extremely busy both on and off the Netball court. |
